Chinuch Online is offering a new course in Parashas Vayera, a continuation of its Chumash Translation series.

From Chinuch Online:

This is a new course that is ongoing as we continue to learn Chumash translation. It covers Chapters 18 and 19 of Parashas Vayera, with selected Rashi commentary and translation.

The prerequisite for this course is Parashas Lech Lecha. We are offering a Rashi Script Workbook to introduce the Rashi script to students, Chumash Vayera Workbooks that require the Qedoc Quiz Player and a PDF output of every Flash lesson.

Learning Rashi shouldn't be difficult. It's understanding what Rashi is trying to tell us, that makes learning Torah so much more rewarding and satisfying. We tend to overlook certain words in the Torah, but as we know, every letter in the Torah has a significant place and meaning. Hashem gives us hints through the placement and arrangement of words in the written Torah. May we be zocheh (merit) to find fulfillment in the words of Torah! Amen.

What I like about Rashi is that he is a dikduk expert. I learn more about dikduk from Rashi than from anyone else. I love learning Rashi's commentary and it's a priviledge to transmit this learning to my children.
