For the past few weeks I have been writing about the crisis that has descended upon our world – a crisis that is nothing less than
Hashem has continously showered us with miracles upon miracles, daily miracles which we take for granted, and event-based miracles, like upon the Gaza war. It's time to thank Hashem profusely and acknowledge these miracles, if we haven't already.
Even though the war in Gaza is temporarily halted, we must thank Hashem for the miracles that He continously showered upon us. The number of IDF soldiers that were wounded is unexpectedly smaller than projected. It is CRUCIAL that we take time out of our day to thank Hashem, daven and say Tehillim for the continued refuah of the wounded IDF casualties and civilians.
Just because we are in financial turmoil doesn't mean that we should stop giving tzedakah. Teshuva, tefila and tzedaka overturns evil decrees. We must not pull back our hand from giving tzedakah at this great time of need.
